Need a place to display your stash that looks pretty and functions well? Or, do you just like baskets and making a difference in the world? We have baskets that were woven in a small village in Vietnam and were purchased by a man from Portland, ME named Charles Miller who is the Co-Founder and Director of an organization called The Children’s Initiative (TCI) to help fund the building of schools and other necessities in Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Honduras. Check out the Website www.childrensinitiative.org for more information. I use the baskets to display yarn at Happyknits and we have some for purchase as well. We have a variety of sizes and all are at great affordable prices. You may also want to use them for your veggies and such that you gather at the Skowhegan Farmer’s Market which runs from 3-6pm today and 9-1pm on Saturday. Beautifying your world and bettering others…how can you go wrong? 🙂
