Dear Yarn Friends
At a time when it seems like the world out there is changing from one hour to the next, one thing we can all rely on is our own connection to each other. That won’t change even if we have to adjust our lives temporarily to keep each other safe and healthy.
For the time being we have decided to suspend our group knitting activities (Tuesday nights and Thursday afternoon) for the sake of our patrons and staff. This is a temporary measure and we will resume as soon as we hear it is safe to do so.
Of course you are welcome here in our uncrowded shop. We’re taking extra precautions with cleaning surfaces in the store, and the Maine Grains crew is doing frequent deep cleaning of our entrance, lobby and restroom with hospital-grade sanitizers. We are also very happy to meet you at the curb with a called in request. W can take your credit or debit card card information over the phone. We can also ship an order to you if you wish. Shipping cost will be $4 for most orders. Let us know if you have any additional requests and we will do whatever we can to accommodate you.
As yarn and fiber users we all have our handiwork to fall back on if we need to hunker down at home for a bit. In that way we are so much more fortunate than others. If we have to slow down our human interactions for awhile we still can reach out to each other in other ways. Lets keep in touch.
Srah, MaryLou and Karla
