It’s been a long time coming, but the change has finally come!
Shout out to all those website designers, people who are great at technology, and people with a digital vision. Creating a new website, for me, is like learning a new language. I don’t just mean learning how to count to ten in Spanish, or knowing your ABC’s in French. I’m talking about having a discussion, or writing a letter in Cantonese, or Arabic. Consequently, after 2 years of studying, still feeling like after practicing only about once a week, the reader is unable to pick up what you’re intending to put down. Yikes! Over the years, people have compared knitting to me in this same way. They tell me, they have spent countless hours, with their Auntie (or some other teacher), trying to grasp the concept, only to conclude that they just aren’t cut out for knitting. I understand.
Here we are now though! Look at us! We are excited and happy with the result and grateful for the guidance and patience of Desiree of A Place to Nest. We may not have been the easiest clients. But, slowly, we became a little more clear about what we all imagined and we able to communicate it to each other and to her. Please take some time to look around. We have added pages to our site to give you all a better feel of what the store is like, if you have yet to stop in, and if you are already familiar with the store, a little more organization and a little more activity. Feel free to offer any feedback as you navigate the new website. We will be adding a little more in time, but this, we feel is a great start.
I hope you are all getting outside (with your knitting/crocheting) and maybe even enjoying some gardening, bike riding, hiking, hitting farmer’s markets, or whatever you like to do in the Spring. I hope you are all doing some Yarn Cruising (www.maineyarncruise.com). It’s always great to see your shining creative faces. Stop in and say hello!
As always, it is so amazing to have your support. Thank you for taking the time to read our blogs/emails/social media.
We wish you all an amazing day, night, week, summer! 🙂
