I am such a SLACKER!! I am in total vacation mode 🙂
I hope you are all well. I have been enjoying this excellent weather and my time at home and with my kids and husband. The house is still a mess but we are happy….like little piggies you know 🙂 My youngest has learned to ride her bike so we are getting in a lot of riding, which is very exciting. I am not really knitting a whole lot, although I did actually finish a project recently which is a big step for me…the Sweet November Shawl. The doors and windows are open and the sweet spring breezes are sweeping through the house and store. Business is slow, but I continue to keep company with the diehards at Knit Night on Wednesdays, and the Sit and Knit on Friday mornings. Awwwwwwwww
Tomorrow, as some of you may know, Saturday, May 4th, is the first day of the Skowhegan Farmer’s Market’s Summer hours, http://www.skowheganfarmersmarket.com/ For me this is so exciting. It is such a nice community experience. So many folks coming out, walking around, supporting their local farmers, eating good food, live music, kids playing, stopping in and saying hi. The Summer hours are every Saturday now from 9-1pm. They will add Wednesday evenings in June.
In celebration, I will be having a Sale on lots of yarns and some pattern booklets and leaflets. I hope that you stop in for a fiber fix, both here and at the Market 🙂 I will be here from 9:30-3:30pm.
