Hey Everybody!!
The Spring (vernal) Equinox, or FIRST DAY OF SPRING (!!!!) is upon us…Wednesday, March 20. I am excitedly anticipating the melting of the snow, the longer/warmer days, color coming back into the world, things “awakening”…and cold/flu season coming to an end…
I am though having a little anxiety about my Spring Hours. This year, I decided to see how 3 day weeks would work during these months when we come out of hibernation, conquering our cabin fever, and spend less time with our needles and wool :/ I was sure last year that it would be sufficient to only stay open 3 days/week this time of year, but now that it is among us, I worry. Anyway…I said I was gonna to do it, and I’m gonna do it, Goshdarnit! 🙂 I will look forward to your feedback about this so I can rest easier next year when faced with this decision again.
Here are the Spring Hours:
Wednesday: 11:30am-7:30pm, KNIT Night 5-8ish
Friday: 9:30am-5:30pm, Sit and Knit 9:30-NOON
Saturday: 9:30-3:30pm
CLOSED Sunday-Tuesday, and Thursday
The hours don’t change at all, so that saves on some confusion, but please make not of the days I am open…….Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. I will continue Thursday night Beginner’s as long as there is the interest. Please call or stop in if you are interested in joining in that group. And, of course, you may stop in to make a purchase Thursday evenings if we are here knitting, in case of a yarn emergency!!
If you live away and are making a trip this way on a day that I am not open, and would like to set up and appointment for a visit, please call…I am happy to come in and open the doors any time. I live out of town, so give me a little notice, but feel free to call my cell phone 207-431-1567, or you can leave a message on the Store voicemail at 207-474-7979.
I will be back on Thursdays starting on the Summer Solstice, which is Friday, June 21st, so the following Thursday, June 27th. And of course, on the Fall (autumnal) Equinox, which falls on Sunday, September 22, and for the Fall and Winter, I will be back to my regular schedule of 5 days/week.
Thanks for reading…..and understanding 🙂
